Wet Hair Straightener

A wet hair straightener can help you cut hair styling time considerably but there are a few things to keep in mind to ensure you get the best results when using a wet dry flat iron.

A wet to dry hair straightener is NOT to be used on soaking wet hair. Hair should be damp and almost dry for the best results and safer hair styling. Wet dry hair straighteners can also be used on dry hair so they are a versatile hair tool.

Be sure that when using a wet to dry flat iron on damp hair that you use a heat protectant before hair straightening as your hair is much more fragile when wet.

A wet hair straightener is best for those with naturally straight to wavy hair. I wouldn’t recommend using a flat iron on damp hair if you have super curly hair as curly hair needs to be bone dry before straightening in order for it to stay straight all day.
