How to Make Curls Last All Day
A hot hairstyle trend this year is soft, bouncy curls but for those with straight hair it can be frustrating to get curls to last all day. You spend all the time creating perfect curls only to have them fall flat by lunch, Well, with these tips below you can get bouncy curls that last all day long!
- Wash hair with a curl enhancing shampoo and conditioner such as AVEDA BE CURLY.

- Blow dry hair until completely dry.
- Section hair so that you can work with the back bottom layers of your hair first.

- Immediately after each curl, while it is still hot, take the section and roll it back into a curl using your fingers and pin it to your scalp using a bobby pin. (For tight curls roll up tighter curls, for larger curls, roll them up larger)
- Continue until all of your hair is curled and pinned.
- Spray hair with a flexible hold hairspray and allow it to dry.
- Remove bobby pins and gently shape and comb out curls with your fingertips until you get the desired look.
- Finish with another light spray of flexible hold hairspray and viola! Curls that last.

How to get Straight hair with Volume -
- If you have super curly hair apply a curl relaxing gel or foam to damp hair before using a large round brush to smooth hair as you blow dry.
- As you blow dry, lift roots upwards with the round brush to create volume. Make sure hair is completely dry by using the cool shot on hair. If hair still feels cool then it is not completely dry.
- Using a 1″ flat iron, you want to flat iron your hair but in order to keep the volume and movement in hair, flat iron wider sections (2″ minimum) As you flat iron the hair pull it straight up as this well create lift.
