Caring for your Clip In Human Hair Extensions

Clip in Human Hair Extensions can last you quite some time when properly taken care of. Follow these great pointers to help keep your clip in hair extensions looking great.
- Wash your hair extensions by hand in luke warm water with a shampoo for chemically treated hair. Before washing, gently comb out any tangles with a wide tooth comb.
- Apply a conditioner to the hair extensions and let sit for a few minutes. Rinse well and gently blot with a towel to remove excess water and then lay flat to air dry. Depending on how often you wear them and how much product you apply to them will depend on how often they need to be washed. Hair extensions do not need to be washed as often as your natural hair.
- Apply a leave in conditioner to the extensions and gently comb it through starting from the bottom and working your way up. This will help prevent any tangles and help keep your extensions looking healthy.
- You can use a heat protectant on your human hair extensions when styling them with a curling iron or flat iron to help avoid any heat damage.
- Remove your clip in extensions before going to bed. When removing clip in extensions always undo the clip before removing, never pull them out as this can cause damage to the the extension as well as your own hair.
- When storing your clip in hair extensions you can place them in a plastic bag or store them in their original packaging.

How to Curl Clip In Human Hair Extensions
When it comes to curling your clip in human hair extensions, there are a few different ways to do it, you may want to play around with each different way to find what works best for you.
1. Curl your natural hair first and then curl your hair extensions before clipping them in. I personally find this gives the most natural look and helps the hair extensions blend seamlessly with your natural hair.
2. Curl your natural hair, clip in your hair extensions and then curl the extensions and blend together with your natural hair.
3. Apply your clip in hiar extensions and then along with your natural hair, curl using your curling iron.
Remember with human hair extensions, you can also use styling products such as hairspray, as you would with your own natural hair.
Beyonce – Super Smooth Straight Hairstyle

Beyonce looks great in any hairstyle she may wear but ever wonder how she gets her hair super smooth, frizz free and bone straight? Beyonce’s stylist spills how she achieves Beyonce’s straight, shiny hairstyle.
- Apply an anti frizz cream to damp hair. Smooth a thin layer over all of your hair.
- Using your hair dryer, blow dry hair while brushing it out straight with a paddle hair brush.
- Once hair is completely dry, section hair so that you can work from the back bottom sections of hair and work your way to the side and up.
- Taking small sections of hair, about 1 inch (the smaller the straighter hair you will get) and place the comb in the section of you hair 1 inch away from your roots and then place the flat iron directly above it.
- Slowly pull the hair iron and the comb down the section of hair all the way to the ends of your hair.
- The comb helps to straighten and smooth the hair before your flat iron goes over it and sets the style.
- Repeat steps until all of your hair is straightened.
