Do you love the vintage look but want a modern edge? Looking for an easy, timeless style that will give you pin-up worthy hair? We’ve found just the look for you! Go with these gorgeous rounded bangs that extend down the sides a bit with a little length.
Worried about how to style them? When you first get out of the shower blow dry your bangs with a round brush for sleek stands. Have unruly texture? Use your straightener & curve a bit at the end. We recommend the H2Pro Black Diamond Flat Iron. Need more oomph & volume at your roots? Apply a root booster before blow drying then use a large barrel curling iron (like the NuMe 4 Play Curling Wand Set ) & amp up the volume by using smaller sections. Remember to curl them down a bit! Then for the perfect 60s look, use an extra large Velcro roller to set your volume for all day wear.

Recently I was talking to a friend when she pointed out many celebrities aren’t just chopping their strands but going a very pale blonde. She said, “Is this a trend? That if you cut your hair that short that you need to go that blonde too?”
The answer is actually much simpler than you might think! Chopping your long strands for spring & summer doesn’t mean you have to go fair blonde (although it looks adorbs to us!) and it is actually quite the opposite! It is far more likely these ladies are wanting that pale blonde shade which consequently can be quite damaging. How do you hide damaged strands? You cut your hair shorter since damage shows the most on the end!
Michelle Williams is sporting a vanilla toned blonde with pale highlights for dimension. Love this style? Blow dry hair while bent over for more volume & guide hair from the back forward using your hands & a round brush. Use a shine mist to get shiny blonde locks. Finish with a touch of styling cream on your ends (not your roots at all!) or a bit of putty for a piecy look.

Hair Products Pro attended IMATS 2013 & got lots of new hair inspiration to share with you! MAC PRO Makeup Artist Louise Zizzo spoke about this season’s Runway Trends & recreated them for the audience. Today we’ll be looking at one of her 3 models whose hairstyle & makeup are perfect for any season.
For her makeup Louise Zizzo went for a dramatic orange toned neutral shade across her eyes extending far beyond the sides. This shade really made the model’s blue eyes pop. With a slightly nuded lip & glowing skin this model’s makeup definitely had us thinking of summertime! Her hair was the perfect finishing touch.
This naturally textured low bun is perfect for an event or to lounge in a cabana. The texture (which is likely natural in her hair) really makes it look warm weather friendly as it doesn’t look drenched with product. The easy side part makes it even more laid back. This style is perfect for all hair types.
To get this look start with wet hair. Add a beach spray to give your hair some texture & bring out natural waving. Focus this from middle to ends. Let dry naturally. Part hair to the side & gently pull hair to one side. Smooth any bumps but don’t pull it too tight or you’ll lose that natural volume. Secure with an elastic. For shorter hair you may need to pin the back with a bobby pin matching you hair shade or let those pieces fall loosely. Tug at the bun a bit so it doesn’t look too done. Apply a pomade or wax to front of hair to secure any flyaways.
